Our PTO has launched a recycling and fundraising program with the help of a recycling company called Empties4Cash. Here is what the Empties4Cash program is about.
1: The empty inkjet cartridges from our computers that we usually through away as trash can be recycled and remanufactured.
2: Send those empty cartridges to school with your child or put them in one of our collection boxes. There are collection boxes in the High School and Elementary Offices and also at the Durand Post Office.
3: Our PTO gets paid up to $4.00 for each empty inkjet cartridge that has a print head, regardless of the brand or type.
4: We need cartridges from all of the following brands of printers that have print heads:
HP, Lexmark, Xerox, Compaq, Samsung, Kodak, Canon, Apple
No Epson print cartridges can be accepted since the Epson cartridges are ink tanks without a print head.
Put the cartridge in a ziploc bag to avoid ink spill on your hand, clothing and bag. Thank you in advance for helping us recycle those old ink cartridges and participating in this wonderful fund raising program. Please tell your friends and family to save them too.!
